HUD has offered a grant to Acadiana Legal Service Corporation to help provide legal assistance…
More people than ever before will qualify for significant new tax benefits this year.
For the first time, adults without kids at home who work could get money from the federal government to boost their income through the Earned Income Tax Credit. You may qualify for an income boost of more than $1,500 if you don’t have children living with you or up to $6,700 if you are raising children in your home. This money is not a loan. People ages 19-24 and 65 and older who work are newly eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit even if they don’t have kids or don’t usually file taxes. Make sure to file your taxes by April 18, 2022, so you can claim your credit. Don’t miss out!
