Acadiana Legal Service Corporation and the Lafayette Bar Foundation are hosting a FREE Expungement Clinic to help individuals remove qualifying criminal records that often create barriers to employment, housing, and economic stability. The clinic is held in honor of the late Judge Jules D. Edwards III, whose lifelong commitment to fairness, rehabilitation, and access to justice helped shape expungement guidance to help participants take meaningful steps towards a fresh start.
