Acadiana Legal Service Corporation is a private, non-profit law firm.  It provides free legal assistance in civil cases to those who could not otherwise afford it.  We are funded solely by grants and donations.  This program is financially assisted by the Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts Program of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.

Our attorneys and paralegals provide advice and representation to low-income residents of the following parishes: Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion, and Vernon.  In addition, we provide the same services to elderly residents of most of these parishes and Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle and Winn Parishes as well, regardless of income.  We have eight offices conveniently located throughout this service area.

Eligibility for our services is based on an applicant's income, financial resources, the merits of the case and availability of resources to address the client's needs.
