Community Needs Assessment 2026
Outreach Toolkit

Dear Community Partner,
Acadiana Legal Service Corporation (ALSC) invites our community partners to help spread the word about the 2026 Community Needs Assessment, a region-wide survey designed to better understand the civil legal needs of residents across 42 Louisiana parishes. The survey is open now through September 30, 2026, and the feedback collected will directly guide how ALSC designs programs, outreach efforts, and legal services for low-income individuals and families in our service area.
We are asking partners to help ensure that voices from across our communities are represented, including rural residents, seniors, veterans, families, and individuals who may have faced barriers to accessing legal help. Participation is anonymous and confidential, unless respondents choose to provide their contact information.
Your support in sharing this survey will help ALSC identify service gaps, strengthen community partnerships, and expand access to justice where it is needed most.
How Partners Can Help
- Share the survey link through your email newsletters, social media pages, and websites
- Display the survey flyer or QR code at your offices or events
- Encourage clients, staff, volunteers, and community members to participate
- Include the survey in community meetings, outreach events, or resource fairs.
Why It Matters
The information gathered from this assessment will help ALSC:
- Identify the most pressing civil legal needs in our communities
- Improve outreach and service delivery in rural and underserved areas
- Strengthen partnerships with organizations serving vulnerable populations
- Ensure ALSC resources are directed where they can have the greatest impact
Every response helps build a clearer picture of the legal challenges facing our communities and ensures that ALSC continues to provide meaningful, accessible legal services.
